T.A.K.E. Defense with Pi Beta Phi

T.A.K.E Defense Training is an organization that strives to equip women with personal self-defense skills, and to make this training available to all who desire it, regardless of physical or financial limitations. It started with a girl, Ali Kemp, a 19 year old who was loved by her family and friends. She was murdered while working at a neighborhood pool in Kansas. This program is dedicated to sharing Ali's story and her amazing personality to encourage women, that with the right knowledge of self-defense training, they can stand up for themselves. Just before her death, Ali had just completed her freshman year of college at Kansas State where she had become a member of Pi Beta Phi. To honor her, T.A.K.E. and Pi Beta Phi team up at universities all over the country to offer free self-defense classes to students. This flyer and Facebook banner were created for the event.
