This was a collaborative project with the purpose of creating an app that would assist children with autism to communicate with the people in their lives. Through our research we found that nearly 25% of people diagnosed on the autistic spectrum are non-verbal and there are very few, poorly designed, and expensive applications out there to assist them. We decided to move forward with a type-to-speak method where we took reviews of other applications and designed an easy to use interface along with a completely new feature to the market, having a separate portal for a caregiver though a smartphone. Connect Us is our solution.

Group Roles

As a three person group we each touched aspects of the whole design but having the advantage of each of us specializing in either Motion Graphics, Interaction, and Print Design we broke the project into parts.

I was responsible for the concept, color-way, name, and creation of the video deliverable.
